Frank opened the meeting by introducing the club and mentioned the membership perks that are offered. He also directed everyone to speak to Melissa after the announcements to sign up.
Frank urged the students to check the website to view internships and research program opportunities.
He also announced that Dr. Cheng and two students will be sponsored to travel to DC and do research in TRB. The application, which includes an essay portion, is due Oct 30.

Everyone was directed to have lunch, In and Out burgers.
Memory Game: There were groups of four that had to send one of their members up to memorize the location of signage, directions, and minor details to explain to their group. The students would rotate coming up and the most detailed drawing won. The winning team received movie tickets to AMC.
